A List of All Names in QuickBooks?

Have you ever wanted to see and have the ability to manipulate a list of all names in QuickBooks - Vendors, Customers, Employees, and Other Names?

Well, here is a great little tip to do just that.

Go to the "Write Checks" window and click on the "Pay to the Order of" line. Now press the Control and L buttons at the same time.

This will bring up a Name List, which you can sort by Name, Name Type, or Balance.

In the lower half of the new window that pops up is a list of Previously Applied Credits. QuickBooks now requires your employees to enter a password to view their pay stubs when you e-mail them. QuickBooks generates the passwords automatically; each password consists of the first four letters of the employee's last name followed by the last four digits of their Social Security number. Changes to Quickbooks Online: April 2019
