Nevada Modified Business Tax Form – Do You Have the Right Form?

If you are a Nevada employer you should be aware that the Modified BusinessTax Quarterly Payroll Form has new limits that affect the Taxable Wages.
Please be sure you are using the new form where line 6 is now required to be greater than $85,000.00
 The new form should look like this:


Previously, the upper limit for exempted wages was $62,500.00 – if you use this form, you will be overpaying and will be sent a notice from the Department of Taxation that you have overpaid and have a credit balance that you can apply next quarter.
