Do you ever wish you could open QuickBooks without an open company file? If you are a consultant or a bookkeeper with several company files, or you would like to open the software without opening a file (maybe someone is in your office and you don't really want them to see your file if you are not able to close it quickly enough).
There is a simple way to do this:
Try it...it is really great if you are a consultant who might be seeing a client in your office...you really don't want them to see either your QuickBooks file or a client file that you may have been working in before they came to your office.

DeleteThank you for you question. As long as you hold the control key as QuickBooks is opening it should still work in QB2013. QuickBooks will open with your list of companies, but no specific company will be open in the background.
